Just wanted to pass around the contact information for a very helpful night nurse with lots of twin experience. Her name is Nydia Cunningham and she can be reached at (818) 669-3589. She charges between $30 and $35 per hour for twins. We hired her for five nights a week the first month after our babies were born. In addition to letting us get needed sleep at night, she taught us basic things like how to bathe them and clean out their noses. She was very kind and responsible, punctual, etc. She's a great resource for clueless parents who need a strong guiding hand.

Do NOT use "Mommy's Domestic Agency" in the Valley, run by Maria Dora Pepay. She will arrange to fake references in order to place nannies who do not have the qualifications you are looking for. I've posted about this before-watch out. Note that there are agencies with similar names and while the problem may go beyond Maria Dora Pepay, that is the only agency where I experienced this fraud.
I and others have found live-in nannies from a nanny 'broker', a woman with extensive contacts in the Hispanic community who can put you in touch with women looking for a nanny job. She does not check references, she does not do background checks - she is ONLY putting you in touch with prospects and you do the rest. Feel free to email me for the #.

Hi All - our nanny Flor is available come sept when our girls go to school full time.
